Service Usage
A contract of service “to recycle printer consumables to a
zero waste standard”, with the following terms, will be entered into, by you,
upon your acceptance of the quotation and receipt of an order number, from us,
which will be supplied to you, after acceptance of these terms and conditions,
and payment for the service or product ordered.
The maximum amount of pallets that can be arranged for collection or delivery is 4 pallets per order and per month,
unless there is a specific contract agreement. Any further orders / pallets will be at our discretion and we reserve
the right to refuse any pallets / orders that exceed this maximum limit.
Terminology
Order – contract of recycling services from us to
you.
Consignment – total amount of items being transported
for recycling detailed on the order
Collect / collection – the act of collecting the
consignment through a third party courier from the address detailed on the
order.
Items – individual printer consumables, packaged
within the consignment, detailed on the order.
We will
- Collect the exact amount of boxes/pallets detailed on the
order. If we receive larger volumes not paid for on the order we reserve
the right to invoice you separately with an additional £10 administration
charge over and above the cost of the extra service.
- Reuse, repair and/or recycle all printer consumables and
packaging materials received through your consignment without the use of
incineration or landfill. Any other materials or products collected from
you may be returned to the collection address, at additional cost to you,
or disposed of in any method deemed acceptable by us for which you may be charged.
- Provide and give access to Waste Transfer Notes for all consignments and collections, in
downloadable format via your online account.
- Provide a Zero Waste Certificate which details the reuse
and recycling percentage, and quantity split, of the items collected from
you and will be the proof of your Duty of Care towards the handling and
management of your printer consumable waste.
- Aim to solve any service issue you may have without delay,
in a professional and friendly manner.
You will
- Package the items that are to be collected in sturdy
containers or boxes, tape the boxes and wrap the pallets, for safe and
secure transit in order to avoid excessive damage or leakage on route.
- Inform applicable persons at your organisation of the collection (anyone the driver is likely to come into contact with) and make available the boxes/pallets for collection between the hours of 9am - 6pm on the requested collection date, and
and for a period of seven days after the collection date if the first attempt of collection is not successful.
- Make sure the correct boxes/pallets are handed to the
third party courier.
- Not place any hazard or hazardous items within your
consignment, according to the European Waste Catalogue - list of wastes.
- Make sure that the boxes/pallets are not exceeding our dimension limits, as this may incur surcharges.
The courier we use calculates the cost using volumetric weight. The following formula is used: Centimetres/Kilograms: Length x Width x Height / 5000 per Piece.
For example, a standard sized box is 60 x 40 x 40cm = 96,000cm divided by 5000 = 19.2kg. If a box exceeds any of the aforementioned dimensions or the allowed volumetric weight (25kg for a standard size box and 35kg for an oversized box), you agree to pay any surcharges passed to us by the courier.
Prices
- All prices displayed on the website are unique to your
account, and cannot be accessed, or be made use of by another account.
- All prices are displayed Net of VAT.
- VAT will be applied on the checkout page if applicable.
Payments
- All payments for the service are charged 100% up front and
conditional for the acceptance of your order, and subsequent start of the
service.
Prepayments
- Prepayments are a form of advanced service payment and can
be made prior to making a collection, and will be held and displayed as
credit on your account, to be used to pay for collections at a later date.
- Prepayments will be refunded at any time, on request by you
via the Contact us form, up to, but not exceeding, the total value of outstanding
prepayment currently held on account. Prepayments that are refunded will
also be refunded the VAT, on top, if charged VAT on the initial
prepayment.
Credit
- Credit is made up of both prepayments and also rebates and can be
used only on purchasing services and products we offer.
- Credit cannot be withdrawn or refunded in itself and is only
displayed as a currency amount to show the amount of store value the credit can
be used to offset when purchasing services and/or products from us.
Cancellations
- We will allow cancelations up until the goods are
collected.
- The cost of a cancellation will be free of charge if
cancelled before 5pm of the working day prior to the collection date
detailed on the order.
- Cancellation on the day of the collection, post collection
date, and after 5pm of the working day prior to collection will be charged
100% of the total order value.
Refunds
- Refunds, on request by you via the contact us form, will
be granted up to, but not exceeding, the total amount of prepayment made
on your account to date, provided there is enough unused credit on your
account.
- Refunds from credit will only be applicable for prepayment
and/or cancellation of service order prior to collection date. Refunds or
withdrawal of credit from rebates is not permitted.
- Any refund will have the VAT refunded on top if there was
VAT originally applied to the prepayment or cancelled order, or part thereof.
Title of Goods
- The title of goods will pass to BCMY Ltd. as soon as the
consignment has been collected from the collection location.
Returns
- If for any reason you may wish your consignment be
returned to you, we withhold the right to fully charge for the service as
originally detailed on the order and no refund will be given.
- We will allow returns of consignments if it is still in
transit.
- Once a consignment has been received by us we will do our
best to locate and return it, however this may not be possible if,
1) the
items are not printer consumables as they may have already been disposed of, or
2) the
items have already been processed and are mixed within our stock and recycled
material.
3) The
consignment has been lost by the courier in transit.
- If a consignment or items cannot be returned we hold no
responsibility or liability for the financial loss, or loss of profits, as
a result to you or any other party.
- If a consignment is lost in transit by us or a third party courier, we hold no responsibility or liability for the financial loss, or loss of profits, as a result to you or any other party.
In this case we cannot provide any further reporting for the data of its contents, however we will credit your account to the same value of the lost elements within your consignment, in part or in whole.
Penalties
- If we receive boxes or pallets that include items other than acceptable printer consumables, we have the right to return them and charge you the transport cost.
- If we receive pallets that exceed our size limits, there will be a minimum surcharge of £20 per pallet. For height (Max 1.8m high), we may be able to accept tolerance of 10%.
- As our recycling process is a dry process, we don't accept printer consumables that are wet or stored outside, and we have the right to return those items back to you at your cost or charge you more to process them.
- We only accept toner powder which remains inside a printer consumable, such as a toner cartridge or toner bottle. If we receive just solid toner powder, we have the right to return it back to you or charge you more.
Completion
- The service detailed on the order will be deemed to be
complete once the consignment has been received by us, items for recycling
have been recorded, a Waste Transfer Note, and Zero Waste Certificate have been produced and made available
to you. Speed of completion is not the essence of this contract.
Completion of service is expected to take 1-2 weeks from the collection
date but may take longer.
